This summer, we will be taking our 5th consecutive trip to Central Asia. Our purpose is simply to pray, to encourage the believers and to share our faith as the Lord gives us opportunity. We'll also be organizing a summer camp for an orphanage.

Seeing Jesus in a Dream
Last year we traveled by train for 24 hours (each way) to the Northern part of Kazakhstan. During the trip we had many opportunities to not only share about life in the U.S., but also to tell about the love of Christ. On the return trip, we met a schoolteacher from Almaty who had a vision of Christ in a dream a few nights before. Raised a Muslim, she’d been taught that Jesus was only a prophet, but not the Son of God. In the dream, she saw a man walking toward her, dressed in white and glowing with a bright light. She said that she knew it was Jesus and called out “Don’t pass me by!”. We were able to explain some things to her about what it means to be a Christ Follower and introduced her to our translator who lived in the same city and would help her get connected with other believers.

Your Support is Critical
Many of you have faithfully supported us over the years, and we are so grateful. These trips would not be possible without your prayers, encouragement and financial partnership. It costs $2700 to cover airfare, visas, food, lodging and other expenses for one person. We raise what we can through fundraising events, extra jobs and selling stuff, but the fact is, your support is critical.

If you'd like to help us financially, you can make a tax-deductible contribution through Northwest Family Church. Just go to their online giving page, enter an amount and specify Crimson Bridge Outreach Teams on the pull-down menu. Then, in the special instructions box, type "Central Asia Team." You can get more information on our CB donation page. Together, we can shine a light in Central Asia. We ARE making a difference!

We leave on July 23, so time is of the essence. Any gift you can give will be appreciated and put to good use.

DONATE NOW

These are some of the orphans we met while in Kazakhstan a few years ago. We'll be returning to the area this year and plan on holding a week-long summer camp complete with games, prizes and stories. We'd also like to bless the orphanage with some basic supplies -- toothbrushes, sheets and shoes.
If you'd like to help, you can make an online donation or mail a check directly to us. See our donation page for instructions. Remember, we leave July 23, so time is running out. Send your donation today!

painting fences in kazakhstanEach year we ask the Father to direct us as to where our outreach teams should go. Our goals are simple:

  • Provide an opportunity for each participant to acquire a proven knowledge of God through the outreach experience.
  • Connect with either a missionary or church in the area of our outreach location and build long-term relationships.
  • Experience first-hand the blessing of serving people in a different culture.
  • Gain a better understanding of God's global plan of redemption and how we can be a part of it.
